Dear Charlie,
Our trip to Belfast was a really great
experience. We got to share a new culture with strangers, and most of all, we
had to speak English for a whole week, which was good, because I think it really
improved our English.
The part of the journey I enjoyed the most
was when we went to school for the whole day, in Hazelwood. They have a very
different way of teaching, interacting. It’s more of a “fun way”, it really
makes you want to participate and give your opinion. Everybody was so nice to
us, we were really well welcomed.
The visit that stroke me the most was when
we went to the Giant’s Causeway. It was an incredible landscape. Everything was
so green and the sea was beautiful, although the weather was not that good. We
had to walk a lot to get there, but it was really worth it.
We also visited a lot of places related to
Politics. It was interesting even though it usually is not my cup of tea. We got
to meet the mayor of Belfast, who was incredibly nice to us, and even gave us
presents. The thing I will always remember from the Irish and from this trip is
probably their kindness.
