My sister makes the most fabulous cakes whenever
there is a major occasion. She decorates the cake with the coolest designs with the
most delicious ingredients. She made this cake here for her friend Violette who
was left to live with in Paris. This is a chocolate cake that she
covered with fondant icing and decorated with the best details and the best colours.
She uses food colouring mixed with the fondant to get the colour she wants and
then adds small details with her cake making tools. She also used gel food
colouring which makes the book look like it’s got this fur on it. As a picture
of reference, she used the real book instead of a picture of someone else’s
cake.
For all the people who haven’t read or watched Harry Potter this is one
of the many school books Harry has to buy for his third year at Hogwarts.
In the making the cake looks like this. Martha took a whole
day to make this cake and didn’t have lunch because she was so concentrated!
From the side it also looks great.
