Hello Charlie!
Today I would like to share with you my new experience as a dog owner.
This is my newly acquired puppy, Ruben.
He is a 2 month old australian shepherd and he loves to chew on anything he finds. Australian shepherds are affectionate, protective, intelligent and active. Unfortunately Ruben does not have all those qualities yet, hopefully he will get smarter as he grows :). He’s a very hyperactive pup, he loves to jump on people and bite your ears or your nose but he doesn’t have any teeth so it doesn't really hurt. He also loves to take naps on the kitchen floor or on his bed after he jumped around for a good chunk of time.
My friend and I took him to a creek yesterday and he stood there looking at the sea for a couple minutes and then he played with the water.(Here’s a picture of him staring at the sea)
I’ve been begging for a dog since I was very little but sadly I couldn’t get one because my family was always moving. So last year when I found out we were moving back to France, my parents and I made a deal that when we moved back to France I could get a puppy for my birthday. Until now I didn’t realize how hard taking care of a pup was. I’ve only had him for one week and I’m already exhausted. I take care of him when I get home and I always have to keep an eye on him, during the night he cries a lot because he always needs to do his business and when I want to watch an episode of Grey’s Anatomy I also have to play with him at the same time which is also very tiring. Overall he takes up a lot of my energy and time but I love him with all my heart.
