Surprise postcard

Hello Charlie !!

Do you know where I went this summer ? I bet you don’t ! I went to the Alps with my family :D My grandparents have a house there, so we went for a week, and it was really great !

Apart from the fact that I was eating very well because my grandfather is an awesome cook, I did a lot of sport (to compensate haha). It was good because I don’t usually do sports back in Marseille, due to the lack of time or just because I’m lazy. I went hiking in the mountains for approximately 6 miles everyday ! It was exhausting, but I appreciated the fresh air, the landscapes, and of course, the food when we arrived up there in the refuges.

As you must have understood it, I’m a food lover, and the cheese is super good there ! These holidays were perfect, and not only because of the food ^^

My summer holidays

Dear Charlie, I hope you're doing well. This summer, I stayed in France, which is not so bad. 

During the month of July, I did some of my homeworks and read  several books I wanted to read (or re-read) for a long time (like The Scorch Trials by James Dashner and Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick).

This summer I spent lots of time with friends I couldn't see much during the school year.

Also, I got to spend proper time with my family, doing lots of simple but yet cool stuff (pool, beach, amusement park...).

Another great part of my summer is that I had unlimited naps and sleepless nights on the internet. 

Maybe I didn't travel this summer but it's better like that, I had a great time with the ones I love and it's all that matters :)

Since mrs. Choffrut challenged us in the last post, here's my favourite pick up line:

"My love for you is like diarrhea, I just cant hold it in!" (I'M SORRY HAHAH)

Postcard from the ocean

Dear Charlie,
A holiday time without being able to see this is not real vacation for me. I've spent all my summers here and I would change it for nothing on earth. My family has owned a house in La Tranche Sur Mer (85) since 1999 and we have spent a complete month every year since then. I know every single part of this town, I know where to buy the best ice creams, where to find the biggest waves, where to meet new people or where to find peace and silence at the best moment of the day. It's a family place where my whole family is finally reunited and where we always have friends over because they are all happy to come see the ocean. That's so alive. Every year, I do the same, I spend my days surfing or tanning, hanging out with friends or building sand castles, playing games or riding my bike around the town. The only thing I hope is that I will be able to spend these same days every year at this same place with the same people for the rest of my days. That's for sure : the 9 hours to get there are valuable!
