Hi Charlie!!!!
Actually, I have to talk to you about a wonderful american State I went during last holidays. This is North Carolina and especially: Durham (one of the big cities with Raleigh).
North Carolina is a Southern state which means it used to have slaves and segregation. This is not still present. However when our friends explained us the story of some buildings they said:"that was the back for black people. That one has been built by white people". So, in some ways... There is something still present :(
I visited an old plantation. And you clearly see how that was... I learned that slave built their own buildings and to let a mark of their work they let footprints because they couldn't write...
However, that does not mean that this city is beautiful. It is colorful and big. In addition, it is sunny and hot (like in Marseille).
Three things stroke me. The first one was how people were nice.
How it was gorgeous.
And how the food was good!!! *.*
Charlie. You have to go there. This is so wonderful!!!! And clothes are so cheap (even more if they learn you are French :D ... True Story :) ).
Byyyyeeeeee!!!!
