The Trouble with Harry

This weekend, as I had (surprisingly) some time I decided to watch a movie and decided to watch a classic: The trouble with Harry, directed by Hitchcock (the greatest ndlr).

It is not a very well known movie nowadays but a lot of series or film maker used the same intrigue. It is the story of a man called Harry who is found dead by a little boy who decides to leave the corpse here. Then another man, a hunter finds it and believes he killed him when hunting so he hides the body. Then, after reflexion, it is seen that he is not guilty and we see every character believing they are guilty of his death, accusing themselves, are under pressure and create a sort of coalition to hide the body to finally discover the truth.

The tension is more and more rising throughout the film without forgetting a touch of dark humor.

Good movie to watch to relax these times!

  2. I've also seen that movie ! As I'm a great fan of Hitchcock I came across it one day and I have never heard about it ^^
To be honest at first I was a kinda sceptical, I didn't really see the point of it, it was quite unusual in comparison with the other Hitchcock's films! But afterwards when I thought about it again, it seems to me more of comedy than a "film noir" as I supposed it was
So you are right, it 's a good movie to relax ;)
Happy to have shared that with you !
