Google Translate Sings

Hello !
Because I love it so much, today (again ?) I will present a very good Youtube channel.

This channel's creator is a young lady named Malinda Kathleen Reese. She became very famous because of one particular video she posted in February of 2014 named "Let It Go" from Frozen according to Google Translate. For this video, she had decided to translate the lyrics to the very famous Frozen song into various languages via Google Translate and then back into English. The new lyrics were so ridiculous she decided to sing them like she would sing the original song.

"Let It Go" from Frozen according to Google Translate (PARODY)

This video had a huge success, so she decided to turn this concept into a whole series named "Google Translate Sings". In each video she takes a rather popular song and makes it go through several layers of Google Translate, which always results in a ridiculous new set of lyrics. Because of her new popularity, she is now able to also realise music videos that parody the original and/or emphasize how ridiculous the lyrics now sound.

She does that with very famous songs,
Google Translate Sings: "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus (PARODY)

A lot of Disney songs,
Google Translate Sings: "Poor Unfortunate Souls" from The Little Mermaid

And sometimes collaborates with other great Youtubers.
Google Translate Sings: "I'll Make A Man Out of You" from Mulan (ft. Caleb Hyles)

Those I just shared are some of my personal favourites, but she has many other great parodies in this series on her channel, that you can go and check out ! She also sometimes covers serious songs, and she has a very pretty voice, so you may also enjoy those.
It is seriously one of my favourite Youtube channels ever, I don't know why but I think this series is hilarious. Plus I love me some good and silly quotes and these songs are full of those.
"Scientists are strange, but I have the holy spirit -
the spirit of Abysmal Despair !"

Voilà, voilà. It's pretty popular so some of you might already have known this one, but I hope I made the others discover their knew favourite channel~
Plus it's a very good exercise for your English ! I'm sure you will all be curious as to why in hell Google Translate turned "I came in like a wrecking ball" into "I like the ball in the sink".

    1. I saw she posted the video, but I didn't watch it because I do not know the original song. I'd better listen to the song first and then to the parody... but I'd also better watch the movie first... welp, haha

I love the “Shape of you” and “Havana” parodies. I even knew the lyrics by heart ! I think she deserves way more subscribers lol
