Ireland

Hello Charlie!
I wanted to talk to you about my very cool and great trip I did with my class in Northern Ireland. I went to Belfast, and some other places around with the families I was with. The school I was in partnership with, Hazelwood College, was really close to the center so that was great for shopping ;)
During my week end I was staying with Hazelwood’s principal and her family, it was really nice. I was staying at their home with 2 other girls from my class, and the family was really sweet, they cooked us some typical meals, took us to the restaurant, and also took us to Dublin !!

I think that was one of the best days of the whole week; we took the train, then visited a bit, ate lunch and then went to Trinity College which is a famous college in Dublin. The place looked really nice; I wish I could study in such a place. The family bought us a t-shirt from there; I like it a lot because it reminds me of this wonderful week.
We also went to see the Book of Kells and it was interesting, the library was really impressive and full of books !

The week end was for me the best part of the trip because the family I was in was awesome and made me discover so many great things. I was so sad when I left them… they were so kind.

Then during the rest of the week I changed the family and went in another one who lived closer to the school (it was great because I could sleep longer haha :P )
They had two kids and they were so cute with their Northern Irish accent, I really enjoyed it.

I think I said what the most important parts were for me. ^^

Bye Charlie x

  3. I went to Ireland and Northern Ireland this summer, but it was only with my family. Anyway I want to go back to these beautiful countries and why not with my class!
Iwent to Dublin and to Belfat but also to Derry, Connemara and the Giant causeway ( which was so impressive by the way)
I loved the atmosphere over there and the poeple were so nice and always ready to help you, don't you agree?
I think Ireland and Northern Ireland have a very interesting history( and very sad too) , and this trip made me curious about that ( actually I'm reading a book about the life in Belfast during the Troubles, in english of course!)
