☝How to talk like Chat GPT☝
I think we can agree that the way Chat GPT talks is quite recognisable and I think it's also funny. Chat GPT is very formal and at the same time so chiiiiiill (what a weird guy).
Here are some tips given by Mr. Chat GPT himself to talk the way he does:
🔤 Most Common Words & Phrases
I use:
-
Connector words: “however,” “therefore,” “in contrast,” “for example”
-
Softening phrases (to sound polite and balanced):
-
“It’s worth noting…”
-
“You might consider…”
-
“One possible approach is…”
-
-
Clarifying expressions:
-
“To put it simply…”
-
“In other words…”
-
“That means…”
-
🧠 Phrasing Style
-
Precise and structured:
"There are three main reasons for this: clarity, efficiency, and tone."
-
Balanced tone (avoids extremes):
Instead of “That’s the best way,” I might say:
“This is often considered an effective approach.” -
Neutral but warm:
"I understand where you’re coming from."
"That's a thoughtful question."
🧱 Sentence Construction
-
Intro + Explanation + Example
“Clarity is key when writing. It helps the reader follow your ideas. For instance, short paragraphs often improve readability.”
-
Avoid slang or contractions for formal tone
“It is not uncommon to find...” instead of “It’s not uncommon…”
🧘♂️ Tone
-
Professional but not cold
-
Supportive and calm
-
Respectful of uncertainty ("It appears that..." / "This likely suggests...")
I am not really a huge fan of ChatGPT, but the way the article presents him, makes it funny and interesting. I liked the memes and the exemples you gave. Quick question did you ask ChatGPT to write your article 🤔

ReplyDeleteI still have the theory that chat gpt and robots in general, will control the world, so this article was useful because in case it actually happens, we would be prepared and talk like them to avoid getting spotted ! Thank you it was fun reading it !
