 Dear Charlie,

Today I wanted to share with you 5 of my personal favourite songs right now. In order for everyone to discover new songs, I tried to choose songs that were not too well-known.Obviously this is only my personal taste so some of you could not like some songs.

 

Lets start with the list, shall we?

  

 

Hate it or love it - The Game ft. 50cent

Maybe some of you already know this song, but it had to be on the list. To me it is one of the best songs with 50cent if not the best. Released in 2005, this Hip-Hop song is a sample of the song "Rubber Band" by the Tammps, an American disco and soul band.  The thing I like the most about the song is the very catchy chorus and the R&B vibe. You should definitely give this song a try if you haven't yet!

 

 

Tequila Shots - Kid Cudi

The next song called Tequila Shots, released not so long ago in 2020, is without hesitation my favourite Kid Cudi song. It is a mix of pop and trap (a subgenre of hip-hop). When I listen to it the warped synths in the background takes me to another world, it hypnotizes me in a certain way. It is a good song for late long drives.

 

 

Jupiter & Mars - ARDN

This one is much less famous than the previous two was released quite recently, in 2022, never less it quickly became one of his most streamed songs (on spotify). When I listen to it I understand why. I couldn't explain what I exactly like about it, maybe the harmony between his voice and the beat or the chill mood that the song brings out. I am not sure about it but I would say its a mix between R&B and rap... Anyways this song deserves much more visibility. 

 

Black Tame  - Topaz Jones

For the 4th cover I chose funk, -I may be wrong when I say which music style it is I apologize if I am-, released in 2021 in the album "Don't Go Tellin' Your Momma" in my opinion describes perfectly the music style of Topaz Jones. I just the love the chorus. Have a great time listening to it!

 

Honey in the clouds -  kang

The last song is the less famous but one of my best discovery. Released in 2022  by a new born artist called "Kang" it is at the moment the only good song the artist made, of course it is my opinion. But I have the feeling that he worked a lot on this song and less on the others. Honey in the clouds is also classified as funk, and is just awesome! It is funk in all its splendor, his voice matches perfectly the rhythm of the music. I hope that in the future Kang continues to do such great songs!

Or maybe not I couldn't put all my favourite songs in one list, I would've been too long. As I said they are on my top list, and I am glad to have very wide taste in music, even if these five songs are quite similar... I hope some of you discovered new songs.
