I don't know if you've heard of the movie Whiplash. I think that if you've never heard of it, it's a shame and you should apologize for this. But, well anyway. Nobody's perfect, right?
This movie is about a drummer named Andrew Neiman.
The thing is that he wants to become a legend such as Buddy Rich or these many jazzmen that completely changed the world of music. He manages to enter into the studio band which is the best band of his Conservatory. Nevertheless, the teacher is crazy and pushes him very hard. He begins thinking only about music and getting better, forgetting to be a human.
I think this movie is really good because at the end you are left with unanswered questions and you do not hate or love some characters because of what they did ( I will not tell who because it would be a spoiler). Plus, music in it, is very good. I also like the way it is filmed. This movie is not an action movie, so it is a lot about images and music. Sometimes, some scenes are without characters speaking and only images and music so that you understand things in your own way.
I hope you will watch it because it really is very good. It raises some questions you do not know how to answer.

yes. preach. Damien Chazelle 💗💗💗 La La Land is also very good ! Made me cry a lot, I think I wrote an article about it. But yea, Whiplash's soundtrack marked me so much, it's part of my all-time favourites !
