4 movies I like

Hello ! Here are some movies I like, but there are so many that I love that if I presented them all this list would be endless and so I might write other articles about movies !

1 : Boyhood, directed by Richard Linklater, my favorite movie ever. It's the story of a boy who lives with his mother and his sister and we see him growing up from when he is 6 years old to when he is 18. It's really moving, and what also really interesting about this movie is that it was shot 1 week each year for 12 years, so the actors evolve with their characters and it's even more realistic.

2 : Electrick Children, an independant American movie directed by Rebecca Thomas. For now it's the only movie she's directed. She also directed the 7th episode of the second season of Stranger thing. Electrick Children is about a 15 years old girl, Rachel, a member of a fundamentalist mormon community in Utah. One day she listens to a cassette recorder for the first time and hears a reprise of « Hanging on the telephone ». Then she learns that she is pregnant and is convinced that a sort of Immaculate Conception happened to her while she was listening to this cassette and that the singer is the father of her child. She leaves to Las Vegas with her brother to find this mysterious singer. Even if it seems strange, this movie is really good.

3 : Irrational Man, directed by Woody Allen, starring Joaquin Phoeanix and Emma Stone. It's the story of a philosophy professor, Abe Lucas, who's depressed and drinks too much. To find the meaning of life and to solve a situation he finds unfair, he's going to make a plan to kill a judge. There's a tension during the whole movie and the end is astonishing !

4 : Your name, a Japanese animated movie written and directed by Makoto Shinkai. It's about two high school students, one lives a mountainous region and the other in Tokyo. One day they wake up in each other's body and the next they they're back in their former body. This exchange happens again and they'll learn more about each other by leaving notes on their phones or notebooks. The story is really interesting and the images are beautiful !

That's it ! I know some summaries are not really exciting but I haven't seen any of these recently and I rarely watch movies twice so I didn't remember all the stories well enough. Despite this, I hope you enjoyed this article and if you watch one (or more) of the movies, or have already seen ones, tell me !
