If you have at least a little bit of common sense you are going to stop putting both of them in a bad light. Trump is a racist, a mysiginist, homophobic, with no poolitical qualifications whatsoever, and has been taking to court because he has been accused of raping a 13-year-old girl, and if he becomes president there will be no possibility to sue him for anything for the four years he is, and then many lawsuits would be dropped because of the time that has passed. On the other hand, Hillary has more qualifications than Obama, and she's not horribly racist and all that trump is. Yes, she may have been investigated by the FBI. But she is definitely, without a doubt, better than Trump, and instead of degrading her to his level, I think she should be showed as the only thing that stands before Trump being elected, and if she gets no support she will fail. Sure, she is not the perfect president. But you cannot say she would be as bad as Trump. Which is what you are implying in your sentence - and I do not care if it is a joke, this is the kind of joke that gets people to not vote and so gets her less votes, so less chances of beating Trump.
And I know you support Bernie, so do I, and here is his opinion on the subject : http://www.politicususa.com/2016/09/25/bernie-sanders-millennials-4-big-reasons-vote-hillary-clinton.html
I also could have said "hmmmm, hard choice, a rapist or a qualified woman, hm, I really don't know ! I mean Trump has explicitely said he does not pay taxes but Hillary has tons of deleted emails, hm, this is a very hard choice" but no. No, I feel the need to be clear, because so many people REALLY think it's not that big of a difference whether it is one or the other, so even of a blog where it will have no impact at all I feel the need to explicitly defend her, even if she's not what I would have wished for if I were American.
But anyway. You know me and I don't support trump at all. And I'm the present situation, I do agree that Hillary is still a better choice than him (even though Bernie should be the one ._.), but let's face it: Hillary had fishy stuff going on during her campaign.
1) The email case, the only time a candidate has been subject of a FBI investigation... twice.
2) Her financement, mostly banks and bribes (but I do agree that blaming one politician for being a bribe machine would be inappropriate, since they are pretty much all in that case).
3) The anti-Russian speeches that honestly scares me. I know there is a joke going around saying that American will either have the choice between Civil War 2 (Trump) and WW3 (Hillary); but without going so far, i'm concerned about here future directives regarding Russia.
Other than that, and perhaps you'll think I'm supporting him but no since most medias are liberal, they tend to turn Trump into an idiot and all (which is logic), but it kinda bothers me that everyone went on joking about Trump and not Hillary. And actually I've seen many people on the Internet saying that they went from choosing Trump rather than Hillary because they thought it was unfair that everyone criticized him and not her (if you feel the huge need to facepalm, I feel you). Bad calculation of the media? Who knows.
Lastly, some people think that choosing 3rd party could be good... but their candidate is someone who doesn't even know what Allepo is...
So let's make things clear, since Bernie is not here anymore, I'll have to go with Hillary, that's for sure, and going with Trump would truly be a mistake to me. But let's not say that she's an angel went from Heaven, she is clearly bad too, but still less than Donald.
But finally, I don't know why but I have a part of me that wants Trump to win just to see the huge mass that America is going to become... but let's not be suicidal.
Some people think chosing third party is wise. Apart from the fact that the candidates aren't better, here is the logic : - third party is never going to win the elections, everyone knows that - if there was no third party (since it's useless to vote for it), and everyone was forced to vote and blank votes wouldn't be a possibility, all, or almost all third party voters would vote for Hillary Clinton - as they are not voting for her, it takes away votes from her which gives more power to Donald Trump - so voting for third party is giving Trump more chances to win Historical evidence ? That's how Bush won the elections.
(as for your concern about Russia, Trump is a big Putin admirer so it means he'd try installing some kind of dictature... and as the US is very powerful, who knows the impact on the rest of the world ? But it's true that US/Russia conflicts would have a big, bad impact too... ANYWAYS.)
And when there still were elections in Hungary... OK no, they still vote. But the election that took Orbàn to the power was like that. HAHA DON'T YOU JUST LOVE POLITICS ?
