Review of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Hello Charlie, this post is a review on the new movie, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

This is the official poster for the movie and it was released in cinemas the 4th may. The movie follows the adventures of Doctor Strange who teams up with a mysterious teenage girl from his dreams who can travel across multiverses, to battle multiple threats, including other-universe versions of himself, which threaten to wipe out millions of people across the multiverse. They seek help from Wanda the Scarlet Witch, Wong and others but one of them isn't as much of an ally as Doctor Strange thinks. To find out more about this twist, you are gonna have to watch the actual movie ( You know keep some suspense ).

I watched this movie 4 days after its release and I have to say that it was probably one of the most epic movies that I have seen since there always was some sort of action happening and it was full of plot twists. The characters were good as they changed a lot throughout the story ( I cannot tell more because it will spoil the film ). The VFX and the SFX was great and everything artificial was really well animated. Although this movie is rated PG-13 ( which I think most of you can watch ), this movie only has a lot of violent scenes and some bad language but it most definitely doesn't have any inappropriate scenes.

So I would rate it a good 9,5/10 just because the ending was slightly disappointing for me ( because it wasn't as "action-y" as I was expecting ) but otherwise the movie was great and I recommend anyone who likes action movies to watch it. Another good thing is that you don't have to watch any movie from before to understand it as I didn't really watch much marvel movies but I still Understood the whole movie ( there were still 2-3 references to older movies but they were more like easter eggs ).

Here is the trailer of the movie

  2. For me it was very disappointing, the film's cgi was weird and the scenario was disappointing as well. Benedict Cumberbatch is a great actor too, without him the movie would've been a 3/10. With him it's maybe a 6/10 for me...

  3. I totally agree with you, this movie was spectacular. I really enjoyed it, but like you said the ending was not the best but still really good.
