Baccalauréat symptoms

 Hi Charlie

I hope you are doing well!

During this stressful period of exams (the bac is literally tomorrow), my brain decided not to cooperate. Instead of revising set texts and remembering quotes, I can’t explain my sudden interest for Haikus. As a very generous (and even more stressed) person, I will share with you some information about them.

1/ What is a Haiku

It is a type of short poems coming from Japan. It is only 3 lines long and generally follows this structure : 5 syllables, 7 then 5 again.

2/ Some of my masterpieces ✨✨✨

« Death of a Salesman

Whose one and only success

Is to sell his death »

« It’s just the story

Of some enslaved coward

That resembles you »

And the best one according to me :

« I just want to die

I’m not ready for the bac

Blanquer, go to hell »

I hope you noticed and enjoyed my inspiration that was following the bac syllabus ;)  I sincerely hope that everyone will have their bac with the mention they aim and most importantly that all of us will be happy because at the end of the day it’s just an exam (that may be the most important of your life but never mind….)

I am going back to my revisions

Fare thee well

  1. Haikus are really a great way to express things simply. I love how deep those verses can be without being 3 pages long.

  2. Apart from being a very funny article, I really liked the fact that you tried to discover new things instead of getting stressed even more. I’ve heard of haikus before, but to be honest I don’t think I have ever read one. The haikus you chose were really poetic, and I have to say that I totally agree on the fact that the last one is the best, because it is by far!
