Music to be murdered by, the last album of Eminem (side A)
Just a historical point for people who don't know Eminem,
Marshall Bruce Mathers II, also known as Eminem is one of the most famous rapper of all time and one of the best musician of all time. He has sold with 11 sudio albums over 220 million albums in his career (since 1996). His success is regarded as having broken racial barriers for the acceptance of white rappers in popular music. He also made a film (8miles) who had an oscar, and for the film soundtrack he made one of the best rap songs of rap of all time: Lose Yourself
On the 17th of January, Eminem released his 11th studio album. It was released with no prior announcement, in a similar fashion to his previous studio album Kamikaze. It features guest appearances from Skylar Grey, Young M.A, Royce da 5'9", White Gold, Ed sheeran,or even Juice Wrld.
Music to be murdered by includes 20 titles, and is largely inspired by Alfred Hitchcock.
The album is a success on the critical aspect, and 2 million albums were sold. It's not much compared to some of his albums, like the eminem show or the marshall mathers LP, but it's more than the two last albums and today less and less people buy albums with the rise of streaming. He had a few hits, like godzilla, leaving heaven, or even those kinda nights. I personnally loved this album with really great songs, pleasent to listen and Eminem raps with an incredible flow. I think this album is really underrated.![]() |

I personally really loved this album and is for me one one his best albums. My favourites songs of it are Godzilla, Leaving Hell, and Darkness, but all of them are great, except maybe yah yah, which I didn't like very much.
Here I will present all the different songs of this album:
The video ends with the message: "When will it end? When enough people care. Register to vote at vote.gov. Make your voice heard and help change the gun laws in America."
That's all for my article, I hope you liked it and you learned things about eminem and this album. Again, don't hesitate to listen to all these songs and even other Eminem songs, since the majority of his songs are great. As an Eminem fan, it was a pleasure to write this article, hope you enjoyed it, and don't hesitate to write a comment to tell me what you think about it and give me advice (it's my first article).
Goodbye,
Marcaggi Ulysse, 211

Interesting article! I don't know much about Eminem but 8miles was great. I'll check this album out as it seems to be good according to you ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm not really surprised that you wrote an article about Eminem lol but I do agree that Godzilla is the best one out of all songs in the album, he proved again that he is the Rap God
ReplyDeleteGreat article, I'll definetly go and listen some songs even if rap isn't really my cup of tea. Will the next article be on Orelsan ? :)
ReplyDeleteI would like to but he's not a english artist.
DeleteEven though I'm a big-time Eminem fan, this article was still very enriching, it's a highly interesting personal opinion on Slim. I feel like No Regrets with Don Toliver deserves a little more recognition, in your article and in general; it's a great chemistry between two artists who have nothing in common but just work well together.
