It has been a long time since I wanted to talk to you about a great American writer that you might have heard of: Jodi Picoult.

She lives in the US and is a really famous writer. Her novels are published all around the world.

However, I hadn't heard about her until last summer when I was in London. I can show you how great her books are through one example: I spent a week walking (and eating) all day in this great city and the friend who accomodated me lent me one of her 600 hundred pages novel which I read all through the trip and finished at the airport because it was so addictive!

Indeed, her stories are mostly realistic but always original thanks to the themes and conflicts expressed in it. There is always some kind of mystery and awesome twists too! Plus, the characters are attaching, and the story written through several points of view makes the reader think while enjoying the reading.

Her last book is "Leaving Time" and was published in 2014. I read it and loved it!

Jenna Metcalf was with her mother the night she disappeared, but she remembers nothing. Her father is in asylum and she lives with her grandmother, who refuses to talk about it. Ten years after, Jenna decides to do all she can to find the one she lost, no matter how shocking and life-changing it might be...
