Dylan Thomas / Richard Burton

Dear Charlie,
Two of the finest Welsh artists combine on this album of 15 Dylan Thomas poems read by Richard Burton (picture above). They both "lived life to the full", dying sadly young as a result, but deserve to be remembered for something other than their private lives. Thomas (picture below) (1914-53) wrote many great poems, and a famous radio play called "Under Milk Wood", whereas Burton (1925-84), a magnificent Shakespearean actor, had a memorable voice. The album can be legally downloaded today only for a mere 50p (about 70 cents) at this address!

  1. I like Dylan Thomas, particularly his poem "Do not go gentle into that good night"
