Just in case we hadn't realised how lucky we were to watch "The Valley of Astonishment" last Friday, we can read the Guardian theatre critic's Top 10 for this year, featuring the very same play. I was also lucky enough to see the fantastic "Two Gentlemen of Verona" at Stratford this summer, so I've definitely got my finger on the theatre's pulse! And how many of you recognised the great Kathryn Hunter from Harry Potter N°5 ("The Order of the Phoenix")? Marcello Magni is also in "Mr Turner", so they've both acted with Timothy Spall. Some of you (naming no names) will be disappointed to find out that I couldn't find a film with Jared McNeill in, but I imagine it won't be long now!

Harry Potter of course! I knew I had already seen her somewhere, but I didn't recognize her (shame on me).
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to watch "Mr Turner" but I couldn't... (I'll try to get it somewhere). I really love Timothy Spall, who is such a great actor.
It's absolutely true, we were lucky to watch " the valley of astonishment ", we all had a good time and the actors were incredible.
