Meeting Joseph Lambert
Dear Charlie,
As you may know we had an American cartoonist, Joseph Lambert, in our school on the second of December and I was lucky enough to be asked to translate the interview he gave to our students in the school library but also of enjoying a meal at the school cafeteria and ask him questions before that.
It was also an amazing moment because we met Mrs. Monique Quesada the American Consul General and the Deleguate for the Cultural Affairs.
This opportunity was given to us by the "Prix Littéraire". I'd like to thank their team but also our documentalist teacher Mrs. Jean and Mrs Marquerie our headmaster.
Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to translate another interview of Joseph Lambert the next day at the Réserve à Bulles but I am still very happy to have been able to do one translation. Indeed, it is a unique experience though it is sometimes hard to remember everything detail the author said it was still amazing.
See you soon,
Loïc

I totally agree with you when you say that we spend an amazing moment! I think this was an amazing experience for the four of us because we got to test our translating skills orally and in front of an audience thus this will help us improve them in the future. I thoroughly enjoyed our time and I hope we all get to participate in such an fantastic activity!
