Hey guys!
Today a short article on how to deal with stress!
- Accept that stress is part of life! Don’t waste time and energy thinking « I shouldn’t feel like that... »! It’s totally normal and we all know what it feels like.
- Get more sleep! You should go to bed at roughly the same time each day so that your mind and body get used to a predictable bedtime routine.
- Try relaxation techniques. Each day, try to relax with a stress reduction technique. There are many tried and tested ways to reduce stress so try a few and see what works best for you. Don't worry if you find it difficult to relax at first. Relaxation is a skill that needs to be learned and will improve with practice.
- Manage your time! At times, we all feel overburdened by our 'To Do' list and this is a common cause of stress. Accept that you can not do everything at once and start to prioritise and diarise your tasks.
- And my last tip : Take control! Stress can be triggered by a problem that may on the surface seem impossible to solve. Learning how to find solutions to your problems will help you feel more in control thereby lowering your level of stress.
I know this is easier to say than to do but I swear to you that these tips really work.
I hope it will help you!
Thank you so much for all these very useful and precious tips ! I feel so relaxed already !

ReplyDeleteThese advices may seem obvious, easy to say and futile, but, when times are hard, when we feel stressed, overwhelmed, sad, or just bad for no reason at all, when we breakout at evry minor inconvenience on our way, when we cry ourselves to sleep thinking that everything would be easier if... , when we'd like to disappear, to flee from our problems and responsabilities, we just have to remind ourselves that if we stop overthinking, if we just take a break and breathe, everything will semm easier, and everything will be ok.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great article!
ReplyDeleteI already feel relaxed for my future several stressing moments just by having read what you said!
How funy was it when I recognised myself doing everything you were saying not to do in any stressing situation!
I was never trying any relaxation techniques, never going to sleep until I had not finished what I had to do, always trying to avoid stressing in many situations, such as when you have an exam you're ready for even I was ready...
I now realise how bad I was in those moments!
Anyway, it could seem easy to say but I'll quickly convince myself that those advice are what we should all do to live better with stress that is actually ubiquitous!
Thank you sooooo much ! I'm a stressed person, especially at school and this article will be useful for me !
ReplyDeleteI have already tried few techniques to relax myself, and the most efficiant on me are : listening to relaxing musics and breathing deeply. But I still have some troubles when I'm too much stressed... Beacause whatever I try I'm not relaxed and I don't arrive to close my eyes. (some advice to help me ?)
I don't like stress, but in a same time I think it can be a source of strength and we can become better because of it.

What I do is listen to some Pink Floyd and it actually works really well for me I don't know what the equivalent would be for you but songs like "Shine on you crazy diamonds", or the very famous "Money" and so much more have relaxing and vivifying abilities that work really well on me
