I am sure you know Whiplash!
This movie is so great! It is the story of a guy named Andrew Neiman who is a drummer and whose dream is to be part of "the greats". He wants to become one of the best drummer ever. Therefore, he is at Schaffer Conservatory, the best of the country, and he manages to enter the studio band which is the best jazz band of the school. However, the teacher, even though he took him in, is a monster. So we see how Andrew deals with all this and how he is torn between reality and his dream.
The music in it is also great! You must listen to it. It is called (guess what?) Whiplash. Here is a link for you:
This movie and the music are works of art because it really shows how far passion can lie your guide in life. So please watch it!

Watching it has been on my bucket list for a few years now, so this actually reminded me that I had to watch, so thanks! Plus everyone recommended me to watch it and I love this actor so much so Im gonna watch Whiplash asap
ReplyDeleteI've seen this movie last year in class, it was one of the most beautiful movie I've ever seen. The actors were amazing. I'm probably going to watch it again, it was really interesting.

ReplyDeleteI've seen this movie last year, and I thought : "waw, this film is amazing!", and then I asked myself if all the people who wanted to become "part of the greats" had had to work that much. I think the answer is yes. of course, not for the same reason, but I think that they all worked as hard as Andrew, in different ways.

I had never heard of this movie (maybe I'm living in a cave) but after seeing all these positive comments I figure it is a very good film ! So I will definitely watch it ;)
ReplyDeleteLove this movie !!! It's so passionate and intense and it's one of my favorite movies because it's so passionate and it gives a great message that it is always work hard and go after your passions and that's what we saw in this incredible work of art ^^
