To tell you everything I fall for him, the very first time I watched Romeo + Juliette (I was 11 and couldn't stop crying because I knew he would never loved me the way he loved... Juliette!). Anyway!
Since this day my love for him just got bigger and bigger with the years (but I stopped crying watching his movies)!
This is why when I saw he finally got his oscar (the one he should have got many years ago but... hum!) yesterday night, I felt obliged to write an article about it! You know, just in case he would check the OIB blog and finally mention me and the love I have to give him!
So there it is my article for you Leo, your oscar and great carrier. Stopping the jokes for a second, this is an important point: if you think about it Leonardo Dicaprio seems to be one of these actors who actually read the script of the movie they act in (I agree it isn't always work of art but still it is often interesting and working roles).
PS: his oscar's thanking speech was A-MA-ZING!

He FINALLY got it! I'm really happy for him, he deserved it! But I also hoped that Eddie Redmayne would have win this Oscar for "The Danish Girl", he really deserved it... But I guess Leo was first, maybe next time! :).

DeleteI love Leonardo di Caprio as well ( I mean who doesn't ? ) ! I'm so happy he got an Oscar, and I really liked his speech at the Oscars. I like when celebrities say something more than thank you and that they support a cause.

ReplyDeleteHey there! I'm in love with Leo too (I feel like every girl is)! He's such a great actor (and his face is a work of art), some of his films like The Departed or Shutter Island are masterpieces. But actually that's not why I love him that much. I think he's really using his fame to make a change and save the planet from ecological breakdown. He made a (quite depressing) eco-doc about global warming that everyone should see. I think it's called The Eleventh Hour. He should get an oscar for his acceptance speech actually. Anyway, great article!
