THE ANGELS' SHARE

Today, I'm going to talk about one of my favourite movies! :)

The Angels’ Share is a movie by Ken Loach, which came out in 2012.

This is the story of a man, Robbie, who stayed a long time in a rehabilitation centre because, under the influence of drugs, he had attacked a man who now is invalid. Robbie becomes a father and is fighting to leads a “normal” life, but violence is everywhere. After attacking three men who had assaulted him, he has to do community works. That is when he meets Rhino, Albert and Mo. Henri, the educator, helps them and introduces them to…whisky! Robbie discovers he has a taster talent. Will he have a new future thanks to this gift? Will he turn it into other offenses? “Only the angels know.”

The first part is very realistic and hard, but then, it progressively becomes delightful. All the second part is very funny. It is a strong and perfect tragicomedy.

I really recommend it to you but actually, all the movies Ken Loach made (all of them are just amazing). If you have the opportunity to watch it, do it. You will not regret it! :)
