Integration event

Dear Charlie,
Here are the photos of our integration event; a potlatch picnic in next door Parc Longchamp

Getting to know each  other...  Sharing food and conversation

What a feast to sample from!
From home-made and often organic food to junk food with chips, sodas and candies...
a true bonanza!

My personal favorites: Tiphaine’s samosas, Raphael’s brownies, Justine’s waffles, Céline’s fruit brochettes, Nadja’s carrot cake.  I’d be delighted if they could post their recipes

What were yours?

Best,
Mrs. C

  1. It's too bad no-one found my Hungarian biscuits... too bad for them, at least, because my friends and I really enjoyed eating them all after the picnic :P

  2. There was so much food to sample from but I'm very sorry we missed out on your biscuits. Could you please post the recipe. I'd love to bake them.

    1. I'm sorry it took me so long to reply, but I had to find the recipe, translate it from Hungarian, and convert the measures into ounces, so there is a possibility I made a mistake somewhere, and if so, I am very sorry.

      Here comes the recipe :

      Ingredients
      3,5oz ground nuts
      9,8oz flour
      7,4oz butter or margarine
      2,5oz icing sugar
      Vanilla sugar

      Steps
      1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them together to obtain a shapeable homogen batter
      2. Make crescent-shaped biscuits 2 to 3 inches long
      3. Put on an oven tray and cook for 10 to 12 minutes at 400°F (200°C)
      4. Roll the biscuits in a mix of vanilla sugar and icing sugar while they are still hot, then leave on a plate to cool.
      5. Enjoy !

  8. That's a pity the original goal, which was to get to know each other, was forgotten by everyone when they saw the food.. !
