What are the Littlest Pet Shops ?
If you were a child in the 2000’s and 2010’s, you had probably seen those cute figurines, maybe you had
some, collected them, or desperately wanted to have them?
But in case you’ve never heard of them, I’m gonna explain for you!
Littlest Pet Shop (or LPS) is a toy brand owned by Hasbro. As you can see, they are small figurines
representing animals (often dogs and cats but they’ve got everything!), they can move their head and have
a magnet in their left leg.
These toys were really popular among kids in the 2000’s and even later as there exists A LOT of them
you can collection.
Now time for: Fun facts
- Here is the LPS number 1 released in 2005 for the 2nd generation !!

LPS
- There are over 3000 different figurines produced, including every sort of animals like rabbits, turtles,
birds, spiders and MANY others.
- As I already mentioned, a lot of people collect Pet Shops. It means that obviously there exists rare LPS

the rarest animals are dachshunds, collies, great danes, cocker spaniels, and short-haired
cats

they’ve got a blue or red magnet under the left leg
These rare LPS can be worth A LOT of money

The Comi con cat was released in 2009, it can be found on eBay for 1000 dollars!
- The brand released a few video games on Wii and Nintendo DS:
Both Wii and DS gameplay revolves around collecting all the pets and amassing the largest. Players can
buy different accessories for their pets, ranging from hats to collars, to glasses in the salon, there is also an

the chance to have them as a child, I buy one or two when i find some in a vintage shop, you can also
