Now, I know my last article was straying away from the topics I've been talking about lately, but now I'm coming back to them. I'm here to talk about a marvellous app that is my lifesaver : Wunderlist!
What is Wunderlist?
It is an app on which you can make lists.
This is my menu. You can see on the screenshot that I have several lists, but also two folders and a shared list. These are two good traits of Wunderlist : you can easily organise your lists and send some to others!
But that's far from being the best aspect of the app.
The inbox is basically my to-do list. I mark the university work-related elements with the star to be sure not to miss anything important; the app also has a feature where you can set deadlines for the elements on the lists, and the little pin that you can see on the "Rockmaraton 2018" shows that there are subtasks on the list.
The way the lists are made is also very convenient: you can move your tasks around and when you tick them, they go to the bottom of the list so you can still see clearly what is left on your list (unlike on paper, where you may miss some things you have not yet crossed out).
Another thing I'm very thankful for: you can untick the tasks. This way, I don't have to write in everything every time, I can just untick them. Moreover, it's not as though one-off tasks stayed with you forever - you can delete them.
Okay, you need to create an account. But that way, you can also view your lists from your computer! I really love this app, as thanks to it, I always have everything I need for organisation with me - and it's not only for planning!
This is just a list I made here without having to tick or untick anything, ever. I just jot down the amount of time I need to be cooking these for.
Or this is where I write down ideas for meals for when I'll be home over Christmas. Anytime I think of something, I can just write it down !
Overall, I would be lost without this app. It holds a lot of things together, and as I consult it several times a day (okay, every time I turn on a computer I open a tab for Wunderlist) I can't miss anything important.
I hope this can help some of you,
Judith
