It's been a long time since I haven't posted anything (again), but I've been trying to work on a special thing for all of you guys, and in the mean time, I'll probably submit smaller articles about various subjects, I've got one concerning music coming soon, probably some on shows and videogames (I mean why not), and who knows maybe one on something totally different that no one would expect a guy like me to post. I'm just telling you that this thing I'm working on takes a lot of time but I hope it'll be useful for all of you. I wanted to finish it before the summer holidays but I don't think I'm going to have much more time from now on, so it'll probably be over during the summer holidays. Okay I'm gonna stop being cryptic now.
Today I'm here to tell about a really cool website that can let you something that might interest you people. Have you always been messing around with fonts when typing things? Trying out silly fonts, or trying to find new ones? Or maybe trying to find the right one for the purpose of your text? Well you can now with Myscriptfont ! (Wow I sound like I'm reading a script from a commercial).
Basically, you can litteraly make your own custom font with this website. Draw your own letters on a template you can either print and scan back with your letters on it, or draw digitally on it, then submit it to the website. And there you have it, your own custom font! You can try to make your own handwriting a font (if you judge that's a good idea), or try to make special fonts for things you create! I know for a fact that I'm going to use this a lot for the game I'm working on, since I want to set up something unique and personal. Anyway, there are tons of possibilities! The website itself will probably explain all of this in a much better way than I did though. So here you go!

ReplyDeleteI never managed to make a good looking font with those kind of websites... But at least now, maybe, if I can't render a proper handwriting, I'll be able to make my weird alien alphabet a thing I can use on word!
