Hello Charlie, it's Djanette and today I'm going to present you a game that I really like: Everskies.
Everskies is a mobile game focused on fashion that came out in 2022. I started playing it everyday since then and I can assure you that it's very addicting.
What I really like about Everskies that distinguishes it from your typical dress-up game is the variety of ways to play.
In Everskies you can dress your avatar how you like, buy clothing (not only clothing but also faces, poses, hairstyles, accessories and much more), design and post your own creations, make collages, design a magazine that you can sell (currencies in the game are stars and stardust) ,join clubs (even if you have a niche hobby you'll most likely find one at your taste), custom your profile in various ways. You can even create chat rooms with your friends!

As you can see Everskies has a very recognisable aesthetic that gives the whole game a nostalgic and retro feeling.
The game is also very accessible, currencies are not too hard to gain. To gain stars and stardust you can play mini-games, participate in competitions, vote for your favourite outfit in a selection and finish daily tasks.
My favourite mini-game is the memory!
Everskies allows you to express yourself fully thanks to its immense variety of outfits. Styles range from emo to hippie, y2k to lolita, streetwear to old money and the list goes on... The game is also very inclusive, almost every clothing has a plus size version!
With the addition of backgrounds in the game you can even create your own stories and simulate your dream life or any other messed up scenarios you got in your head!
With all that said ,the game is not near perfect. The community can be quite toxic to beginners and sometimes it's hard to make friends on this app due to the competitiveness of the other players. If you're a free- to-play player like me you will sometimes feel frustrated too when you had the best outfit in the competition and still lost because someone had a rarer piece of clothing but don't worry the game is not always unfair! You just have to find the good community. Another critic I have to make is that the verification of outfits posted is very badly made, normal outfits are denied but inappropriate ones are accepted without blinking an eye!
Overall I recommend this game but I still advise you to approach the chatting aspect with caution because it can get very toxic quickly.
