No phone experiment

I am not addicted to my phone but after walking in the hill I had a realisation of how fun life must have been with telephone cabinets.

But here is everything I did and happened to me so you can decide if you should do this too

-I completely reorganised my bedroom moving around the furniture

-my friends called me on the landline telephone to tell me we had a party at the week end

-I learned how to play the harmonica, I now know how to play amazing grace for a wedding

-I started The Office which was a good series to start as Steve Carell is the voice of Gru in Despicable Me aka my favorite film

-I realised it didn’t actually change that much not to have a phone considering work it was just sad because I couldn’t talk to my great friends after having seen them for the day

- I went to the beach to revise for my hge bac blanc and coming back by bike a crazy motorbike going 100km/h ran into me and I almost died which was an interesting experience as when getting back up as a reflex I ran to get my MP3 back and went back home by bus not telling anyone

-the day after was the Bac Blanc, I only had my left hand, this time I decided to go back home by bus which was quite dull, but that was not counting on me not having my keys and the “in case” key has disappeared, so I had to climb up my house to access the terrace with only one hand which was quite complex, after that I got my phone back

In the end, I got in an accident, it didn’t change my work efficiency but I developed new skills essential in life

  1. Seems like a rollercoaster, I’m glad you’re well now and i wish you a good recovery.
For what it’s worth I’ve also done a “detox” this summer, not really addicted but then we all say this until it hits us right in the face, by day 2 you’re mentally begging, and then things go clear, I’d dare say day 3-5 is pretty much the best time you can have during the week, your breathing gets deeper and more efficient, your posture naturally better, and there’s this ease and peace that comes to you. It’s truly insanely powerful and i recommend anybody with enough discipline to do this.

  2. I think phones have become such a big part of everybody’s lives but I truly think it is not for the best
Everybody now is addicted to their phones and some can’t even remember memories to a time they didn’t have a phone. Social media is destroying everybody’s mind and not using it take a lot of effort I think it’s something everyone should do
