Just a Friendly Reminder...

Here is a spontaneous reminder just for you, guys.

I know that we are in difficult times. I know that you are tired too. I know that you have a lot of pressure. If you are feeling down, well, I hope I can feel you up with my words.

Hey you, yes you, you who is reading, I might not know your story but I do know how amazing you are. I just want you to hear it in case you haven't heard it today, but I am proud of you! 

You are beautiful, unique, special, strong, important, bright, precious, empowered and loved! I don't want you to think these things are not true, because they are. Don't doubt! You can even tell yourself all this every day if that helps you to start a brand new day. Be patient and kind with yourself and you will see in the mirror one day that I am right. You will see your reflection and will believe in yourself. Because, sometimes you really just have to look at yourself and say :


"Damn, babe you're killing this shit!" and really just adore yourself.


Alright I know how dumb I might sound but you are amazing and nothing will make me change my mind about you. We are in a period when we really need some support and some sweet words.

Listen, if these 'happy thoughts' don't help you at all I can advise you a simple thing : Do what you like to do and go where you feel most alive. Find what works best for you. For example, when I feel down, I go for a run and at the top of a hill I scream in order to release tension. You can try. But there are thousand things to do! You can draw, sing, cook, shop, work (I heard some people do that...), ... Just do what is making you happy! You deserve it. 



Anyway...I really hope my words will stay in your mind. Honestly, what I am saying actually sounds cliché I am well aware, but sometimes we really need to hear it this way I think. I hope there are days when your coffee, or tea, or whatever you drink in the morning, tastes like magic,your playlist makes you dance, strangers make you smile, and the night sky touches your soul. I hope you fall in love with being alive again.

PS : you are doing great, keep going. Holidays almost there!

  1. Really nice PSA and some very nice example. if I may add my little addition, try to find some comfort songs, and keep them for very special situation don't listen to them over and over. A useful trick against our dummy caveman brain, "this song is ONLY there when you get better. And now it's playing so you must be getting better".

  6. You actually made me tear up 🥺 these are very simple things to say to ourselves but it seems like we often forget to remind ourselves . Sometimes , the most simple things are the most significant so thank you for your kindness and generosity of support, it's very special and important in these times where bad events keep staking :/
