First time with BTS?

Heyyy Charlie!

I've already talked about BTS before quite quickly, and now I wanted to write an article about something amazing that our fandom (ARMYs) and BTS did: they were nominated at the BBMAS, and yesterday they finally won the Top social artist award which is "crazy" for a k-pop band,
especially for BTS.

Why ? Well, unlike kpop bands such as EXO, 2NE1 or Bigbang which are under very big companies (SM, YG...), it's very hard in the korean music industry to get really famous nationally, and it's even harder to be famous internationally.

To quickly introduce you BTS' story, they are a  seven-member kpop band which is under Bighit entertainment, this company is really small, BTS being their only boyband and the one that makes it become bigger actually! If you dig a little bit, you will find stories about their hard debut: indeed, at their debut, they couldnt buy themselves a proper meal because their incomes were really low, whereas now they have more than they need; so as a fan that follows them ever since their first Music video, it was a really weird feeling to see them come throughout all of this and end up at the BBMAS, by great american artists' side!

Anyway, I hope that you will enjoy taking a look at their last comeback and support them! ♥

PS: Just to make you realize how much they've climbed the ladder, take a look at the difference between their first concerts and now!!
See you Charlie!
- a super happy ARMY c:

  1. they really did make history! The fact that when i was younger everytime i would talk about k-pop (being the first gendra of music i discovered on my own and of course obssesed with because of how different it is) to people they wouldn't know what i'm talking about and now after winning people are starting to open up to this "world" and stop being so close minded about it makes me really happy!

    1. YAY! You should take a look at ACE's street perfomances in Seoul: they covered a lot of k-pop dances/songs, they are really talented! They even made their debut today which is called "Cactus" but I didn't love it ^^

  5. I had never heard of them before but they're cool. Their songs are good but I don't like songs where I don't understand what they are saying. They dance well though haha.

  9. As an ex kpop fan (bts army kind of) this news made me really happy to be honest! I love how music from all around the world can be appreciated and the fact even if we don't really understand what their saying we still can feel a connection to their music so it's good to see that artist like them are getting bigger

  10. Yeeeeees BTS ! I'm really happy for them and for everything that they accomplished so far onnto their carrer ! I remember watching videos of them asking people to come to their concert on the streets of Seoul , withtout knowing that , in 3 years , their concerts would be sold out in less than a minute (literraly) around the world. I'm so proud of them for all of this and I can't wait to see what they're going to offer us in the future !
xoxo , Abdel (a supper happy Army too ^^)
