I'm sorry to break the Christmas joy and excitment, but I think it has to be done because I didn't see anypost about it.
On the 11 of July (they day after my birthday...) a great man, an incredible CEO died. This person was nammed Satoru Iwata, he was Nintendo's CEO. Now you may ask why am I talking about this in December? It's simple. At this very moment, there's the "Video Game Award" that's going on. And for this occasion, Regie Fils-Aimé (Nintendo America's CEO) made an hommage to Satoru Iwata, I know that only a few of us in the OIB are so called gamers, geek or whatever, but if once in your childhood you enjoyed playing the Nintendo DS, Wii, Pokemon, Kirby, Mario, Zelda, Super Smash Bros... It's because of this guy. And I want to share with you the video of this hommage:
To finish this quick article, I will just quote Mr. Satoru Iwata: "On my business card, I'm a corporate president. In my mind, I'm a game developer. But in my heart, I'm a gamer".
Thanks for reading and see you for an happier post about Christmas!
Where are the geeks?
