There's yet another great season of films on at Aix's Institut de l'Image, until the end of the month! There are two great films called The Killers (see the photo featuring the great Burt Lancaster and Ava Gardner), another called The Innocents (from Henry James's The Turn of the Screw), 12 Angry Men, The Man Who Fell to Earth (starring David Bowie), Clint Eastwood's great directorial debut Play Misty For Me, to say nothing for the Italian, Soviet and Czech films, and the other ones I forgot to mention! i love old movies. especially the ones in black and white. and the movies you're talking about seem really intresting.
ReplyDeleteWell, I must admit I wasn't disappointed (and rarely am at this cinema!) Remember I can lend you old films. And have you seen any of the great Romanian films that have come out in the last 10 years? (Mr Leah)
