Another great Northern Irish writer!

Dear Charlie,
Yet another interesting article from the Guardian, this time about a great Northern Irish writer, Bernard MacLaverty, some of whose books are in the school library. In this interview they talk a lot about his short stories and you can find all the stories in the school library, in one volume! I particularly recommend his novel, Cal, which was made into a really good film in the 1980s, and is also really short (about 150 pages). You can find that too in the school library, along with many other books from Ulster.
