"So much universe, and so little time"

Today is a sad day for fantasy lovers. Terry Pratchett died at the age of 66.

He was most famous for his  Discworld series, novels taking place in an imaginary flat world, resting on the shoulders of four elephants standing on the shell of a flying tortoise. He created iconic characters such as Rincewind the Wizard, Gaspode the Wonder Dog, or the orang-utan Librarian, as well as the fascinating city of Ankh-Morpork...
If you want to read something funny, entertaining and witty, you can't go wrong with his books!

More on him here.

  1. Sad tidings. He's one of my favorite authors.

  3. I started reading one of his books (the Colour of Magic) just two days before he passed away. I 've only read a couple chapters, but I can already agree with you when you say that he is entertaining!
