Here is my holidays discovery : Heather Chelan
This wonderful singer breaks taboos subjects singing trought social network. Her protest songs are funny and make her involved in political, feminist and social issues. They really are a hit on Tiktok !
Heather Chelan is from Seattle and she lives in London. She writes music and short PSA songs in which she sings about things she cares about.
( A Public Service Announcement (PSA songs) is a message in the public interest with the objective of raising awareness of, in order to change public attitudes and behavior toward a social issue. )
Through social network, she expresses herself about her daily life but mostly about her opinion : Feminism, LGBTQI+, Black Lives Matter… Each society issue is analyzed and dissected through the melody and harmony of her beautiful voice.

Hi! It's amazing how much we discover stuff from tik tok haha ,thank you for introducing me to this amazing person. It's really efficient to talk about these kind of societal issues through colorful songs ! anyhow , I've listned quickly to some of the songs you've mentionned and they're geniunly good , I was expecting something really silly but I'm acutally surprised haha thx !
