This movie is called Captain Fantastic and the director is Matt Ross. The story
is about a family (with a dad and six children), that live in (almost) total
autarky in the woods. They’re a bit like hippies, wearing colourful clothes and
singing songs at night around the fire. The mother has died and the story is
all about this family taking a road trip to go to their mom’s funeral, and
seeing the “real world”.
Add to this
already surprisingly amazing story, a funny and touching movie, a movie that makes
you think about society and humans, a movie with beautiful images and moments.
This movie
is a reflection on life, on death, and family but also on capitalism, money and
society. It’s really eye-opening, I have to admit I cried.. In all the
restrictions of society, the horrible things, the sadness, this movie is a
hope, after seeing it, you want to change the world!

the stars? Learning everything by yourself? Is it that bad? “
You should
definitely watch it! (and I know I’m not really good at telling movies, and if
I made it seem like it’s boring it’s not I swear!!)
