Purble Place: A game that brings nostalgia

    Hello!

     If you had a computer during the 2010s, you have probably played this game as a kid. It was installed on every Windows 7/ Vista versions. With it's classic 2000s aesthetic and simple gameplay it hooked any kid up. It was composed of 3 games. This was the main menu of Purble place where you could select the game you wanted to play depending on which building you clicked on.

 

The 1rst game (building on the left), is a memory game. It consist of returning every matching pair of cards. If you returned a pair that isn't matching they will switch back. You need to remember the placement of the cards in order to return them all and win the game!

 

The 2nd game (building in the middle) was a cake factory simulator. It consisted on matching the order (image on the top left). For that you had arrows (bottom left) to bring the cake back and forth to make the shape, filling, icing and decorations. If the cake was correct it was packed and sent, on the contrary if it didn't match the image it was thrown away. It personally was my favorite of the 3 games!!!

The 3rd game (building on the right) was a guessing game. It consisted of trying different accessories on a character until it matched the hidden character behind the curtain. The game would tell you how many accessory you had wrong or correct. When you had them all correct the hidden character would reveal himself!

Since the 2010s the game has gotten a more modern redesign. But the original version brings back memories for a lot of people!!
