I think we can agree that the way Chat GPT talks is quite recognisable and I think it's also funny. Chat GPT is very formal and at the same time so chiiiiiill (what a weird guy).

Here are some tips given by Mr. Chat GPT himself to talk the way he does:

🔤 Most Common Words & Phrases

I use:

• Connector words: “however,” “therefore,” “in contrast,” “for example”

• Softening phrases (to sound polite and balanced):

  • “It’s worth noting…”

  • “You might consider…”

  • “One possible approach is…”

• Clarifying expressions:

  • “To put it simply…”

  • “In other words…”

  • “That means…”

1. Precise and structured:

   "There are three main reasons for this: clarity, efficiency, and tone."

2. Balanced tone (avoids extremes):

   Instead of “That’s the best way,” I might say:
   “This is often considered an effective approach.”

3. Neutral but warm:

   "I understand where you’re coming from."
   "That's a thoughtful question."

• Intro + Explanation + Example

  “Clarity is key when writing. It helps the reader follow your ideas. For instance, short paragraphs often improve readability.”

• Avoid slang or contractions for formal tone

  “It is not uncommon to find...” instead of “It’s not uncommon…”

I would personnaly add that using cringey emojis would also help you to be more like him (it would be even more awkward if you tried to this orally).

Let's not forget that Chat GPT can also impersonate people. If you want to do that you need to be very extreme and cliché in your impersonation.

Example of Chat GPT talking like a cowboy: "If you wanna talk like a cowboy, you gotta slow it down, cut them fancy words, and throw in some grit, charm, and a touch o’ sass."

Same but as a british: "Right-o, here’s a lovely little spread of classic British bits and bobs you'd hear around the pub, on the telly, or just havin’ a chinwag with your nan"
